Arrives at late evening around 9.10 pm at Kuching International Airport. Exhausted and at the same time feels hungry..the 6 hours waiting at Kota Kinabalu international airport was really tiring and boring..but managed to buy myself a Hypnose Lancome perfume..hehe..( finally...i got ya..)

Our group took a taxi and went directly to Hilton hotel..the place where the Symposium to be held the next day. Upon arriving at the entrance hotel we are welcomed by Mr. Malik ( mentor of Eltdp Sdk ) and Mr. Mohd Fadzli Abd Rozan ( Assistant Principal Director English Language Unit Sabah ).. Wowww...i feel so great been appreciated and welcomed by everyone in there. As I can see from the face of everyone ..they spark through their smile. Laughters every where as I can hear during dinner in the ballroom. I laugh a lot..we laughs a lot..:D

After dinner..we pull our bags and drag ourselves to the Pullman Hotel..its nearby the Hilton..10 mins walk..its hilly..its a breath catching walk..huhuhuhuhu...:@

The Very Hungry Caterpillar begins its journey..

The hungry caterpillar begins its journey in Year 1 Fikrah ( 2012 )..the noisiest class with low ability students.
The 37 students always have difficulties in remembering the Days of the week. Whenever I ask them question it is always a Monday to them...it sounds very cute and funny but it also makes my temperature goes up..haha..

To fix this problem i have come up with a method using a story book to catch their attention  and at the same time they learn vocabulary and sight words in the story as it goes along. I called  this research project " Using Shared Reading with Year 1 Students."  CLICK THE LINK BELOW for presentation...:)

Hello..I'm BACK!!

It has been a while since my last post..too many things come up in life..Sad..hurts..happy..frustration..depression ( almost .. ) haha..Life is indeed like a roller coaster.

Been busy preparing my ELTDP Project in school. I have done  a research on Shared Reading with my Year 1 students. My mentor Breena Cheers has been my backbone in making this school project done completely. The project was born when I have difficulties in making my Year 1 students learned about Days of the week. I'm not happy with their respond which everyday is always a  MONDAY to them..Then I have decided to come up with something new in my teaching method. Something that is fun but meaningful. Since Me and Stefanie my workmate are in the Power of Reading project in school so I have decided to use Story Books in my teaching and learning strategy.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle  is my best pick of  book to begin my journey.
